Updated: New Customer Dashboard

We’ve heard your comments and we have responded. Previously, recent activities were no longer visible after they were read, but that’s all changed. Your customer dashboard has been updated to give you the ability to review your activities at any time. Rather than disappearing, they will be marked “read” just like your personal emails are after you open them.

Additionally, we have added a few new activities that will be visible on your dashboard. You will now be able to see the messages you sent, requests you have made and of course the services you ordered.

New: Home To-Do Reminders

We all live such busy lives that it is easy for time to get away from us and to forget certain tasks that need to be done around the house. Rather than just keeping your fingers crossed and hoping you’ll remember or writing little memos on sticky notes and posting them around the house, wouldn’t it be great to have a To-Do-Reminder delivered to you via email?

Home To-Do Reminders

On ServiceWhale, you’ll be able to set reminders for a variety of household tasks such as replacing the filters in your humidifiers. You can select from the Home To-Do Reminders already on the site or create your own and designate when you want the reminder to be delivered.

Enhanced: For Our Contractors

Our fabulous updates are not limited to registered homeowners. We have some goodies for our beloved contractors as well. When a contractor signs into their ServiceWhale account they will notice that they now have a new menu item, Principle/owner info. It’s within this section that the contractor will answer a few quick questions to personalize their profile.

Other features for our home improvement contractors include the ability to simply select the logos of the associations to which they belong and set a minimum service price for projects that they do. These additions will enhance the users experience and the details added to the existing profiles on the website will give homeowners a more complete picture of the contractor and the company.
