Why Does My Electric Water Heater Keep Turning On And Off?

When I first moved into my new home, I was excited about the fact that I could turn on my electric water heater, feel a warm soothing heat envelops my body and relax. After a few days of being in my new home, I started to notice that it was getting colder. I was getting shivering real hard when I tried to use the heating feature on the heater. So I went and checked with the HVAC company, because they have a thermostat that stops the heater from heating up if your heating system is not working. They told me that they had never had a problem with their heater and it was probably a low voltage wire that was causing the issue.
