Why Does My Gas Hot Water Heater Make Noise

Why Does My Gas Hot Water Heater Make Noise

There are many reasons as to why a gas hot water heater may start to make a buzzing or whirring sound. If you have one of these heaters at home, you would be experiencing this noise quite often. If your heater is overheating and you do not have an air conditioner, this can cause the noise as well. The noise is caused by the circulator in the heater which is trying to keep the water heated but being forced to move too quickly. It is important that you are able to move through the water at a pace that is comfortable for you and not causing the circulator to overheat because of the moving pieces. There are also parts of these heaters that can become loose and thus cause the noises and this can be fixed by simply replacing the parts.
