Featured Homeowner: Susan Battafarano Shares Her Experience Using ServiceWhale

ServiceWhale: What prompted you to use ServiceWhale? What was the issue were having that you were searching for a home improvement contractor?

Susan Battafarano: I had a hot water heater go bad on me after so many years. Of course those things are unexpected. My initial instinct was to go to the home improvement store to get a price but when I did, I realized that the prices were out of my range. I called my plumber and he gave me a similar price of over $1000.00.

SW: How did you hear about ServiceWhale?

SB: My plumber had told me that he used Bradford White water heaters so I started researching that brand. My search brought me to ServiceWhale. I was curious and thought it was worth giving it a try. SW: What did you think of Quality Comfort?

SB: They were perfect. Like I said, they called me to let me know they had a cancellation and asked if I wanted them to come out a day early. There wasn’t even a question in my mind, yes I would love to have hot water.

SW: Would you use ServiceWhale again in the future and/or recommend it to others?

SB: Yes, actually I have another job that I went through ServiceWhale for. I’m having my bathroom remodeled right now. I did a complete demo and we are enlarging the bathroom a little too.

I would absolutely recommend ServiceWhale to others. As a matter of fact, I’ve gone on Facebook and Twitter and also emailed everyone I know to tell them that they should go through ServiceWhale if they have any jobs that need to be done because it will save them money and that the personal service I received was a great feature.

I’ve had the experience in the past of having to get on the internet to research contractors and then have them come to give quotes. A lot of times their quotes were just way out of the ball park. On ServiceWhale you can get the price and then have people come over.

SW: If someone were on the fence about whether or not to use ServiceWhale, what would you say to them?

SB: I would tell them that they should be more on the fence about not using ServiceWhale. I would recommend this service for the homeowner that doesn’t have a friend or family member in the business.
